Abstract: The experiment was conducted to determine the carbon Storage of vegetation and soil using the typical sample plot method of forest ecology to obtain field data by means of the Walkley-Black acid digestion method. The carbon storage of vegetation and soil in Larix gmelinii forest in three forest types showed that the carbon density in different organs of the main tree species in Larix gmelini forests ranged from 0.494?6g/g to 0.535?2g/g.The total carbon storage of the ledum palustre larix gnelinii forest, herbage larix gnelinii forest and rhododendron larix gnelinii forest is 173.21t/hm2,207.81t/hm2,118.95t/hm2,in which the amount of carbon fixed by vegetation is 53.41t/hm2、86.23t/hm2、33.76t/hm2,and fixed by soil is 119.80t/hm2,121.58t/hm2 and 85.19t/hm2. The annual net carbon storage by broadleaved Korean pine forest is 3.61 t/(hm2·a).

Key words: Larix gmelinii forest, vegetation carbon storage, soil carbon storage
