Abstract

Abstract: This paper presents a description on the development process of forestry data table (FDT) and analysis on present situation, existing problems and causes.Some development strategies are put forw ard such as int roducing new idea and knowledge, improving the system frame of FDT, programming the FDT development reasonably, managing the FDT in a scientific way, enhancing the support of technology for FDT and carrying out experiments and demonstration for nationwide extension and dissemination.
