Abstract: This paper introduces the conception and development process of the national park system,and summarizes three national park management models in USA,Germany and Canada.Through compartively analysing these models,this paper introduces some experiences.Furthermore this paper analyses the status of China’s protection system,and points out some existing problems in this system.Based on the above analysis,this paper gives some proposals for establishing a national park management system in China,which includes establishing the special legal system and the unified management mechanism,moderately separating the rights of ownership,management and marketing,innovating and expanding funds rising methods,building national park pilots with supports from the forestry administration,encouraging the public participation as well as adopting scientific decision-making mechanism.
