Abstract:

After 1 year's conservation, there were as much as 71 tree species and 64 547 N/hm2 density of new enriched natural broad-leaved saplings in the clear-cutting blank of Pinus massoniana plantation in Yong'an city.Among them, there were 38 natural broad-leaved arbor species, with an important value of 30.64% and density of 12 200 N/hm2.The number of natural evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved arbor species were 22 and 16 respectively, which are very precious natural broad-leaved arbor species resources and the important foundation of the vegetation management for plantation in this region.Among these natural broad-leaved arbor species, there were many valuable or high-valued timber species, such as Machilus thunbergii,Schima superba,Cyclobalanopsis glauca,Castanopsis carlesii,Castanopsis hystrix,Machilus pauhoi,Phoebe bournei,Sassafras tzumu,Paulownia,Choerospondias axillaris and Alniphyllum fortunei.
