Abstract: The coastal backbone forest is the first barrier and ecological protection line for natural disasters. It is also the most basic and primary forest belt for coast protection forest. This paper introduces the current situation,effects and existing problems of the protection and utilization for the coastal backbone forest in Fujian. The countermeasures and suggestions are raised for protection and management of backbone forest under the new situation.
