Case analysis of endangered species and products smuggling -take the smuggling case seized by Xiamen Customs in nearly eight years as an example

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper , we reviewed the endangered species and products smuggling cases seized by Xiamen Customs from 2006 to 2013 , and analyzed the number of cases, the nature of the cases ,and entry exit characteristics of the cases and other aspects. Further , the key reasons for smuggling endangered species and their products were explored. Then we put forw ard some countermeasures and suggestions to curb and fight smuggling endangered species and products.
