Application of Independent Multi-source and High-resolution Satellite Remote Sensing Monitoring Technology in Plain Afforestation Projects in Beijing

Abstract: From 2012 to 2015,plain afforestation projects covering an area of 70 000hm2 have been implemented in Beijing. In order to improve the efficiency of project supervision through the project planning stage,the implementation stage and the maintenance stage,the independent multi-source of high-resolution satellite remote sensing monitoring technology was introduced in the project management. The mode based on space technology was developed for forestation project supervision,and the efficiency of project management was improved.
