Abstract: The paper conducted a sample investigation of the 1,080 key forest fire risk counties throughout China (with the accuracy higher than 90%),based on the regionalization of forest fire control.It analyzed the current situation and features of key forest fire risk zone construction,summarized the future investment demands of construction and put forward corresponding suggestions.The results showed that,among the future construction programs of national key forest fire risk zones,there are greater investment demands in construction of fire control roads and fire containment systems,firefighting equipment and fire lookout monitoring system.And in the northeast and southwest regions,construction programs of fire control roads and fire containment systems,communications and information command systems of fire control,and fire control aviation engineering present bigger growing proportions of future investment needs.The paper aimed to provide an effective basis for the measurement and calculation of the national forest fire control planning investment.
