Abstract: This paper studied Vitex negundo community on the sunny,valley,semi-sunny and semi-shady slopes after 25 years’ closure for reforestation in Chaoguan Xigou Forest Farm,analyzed the age structure,life table,and survival curve of the population.The results showed that Vitex negundo population in the area belonged to progressive type,with more young and less old individuals.Among the three habitats,sunny slope had the highest population density.The survival curve of Vitex negundo population was close to Deevey Ⅱtype,Vitex negundo population recovery better.
